Panel
As the industry comes out of the recession there will be a strong push to realign the work force that has dwindled, some not returning back to the industry. Robotics, automation, and remote operations strategy will be key for the industry to allow human and machines maintain delicate balance; to provide the best efficiency without compromising safety and service quality. There is a saying, “The solutions and answers to your problems may be in your neighbor's toolbox.” This panel will take a deep dive into how the energy industry has used the current circumstances and challenges as an opportunity to conduct operations in a different way. The panel will also look at other industries and academia to see what has worked well there and opportunities to incorporate those lessons learnt, successfully and efficiently. The outcome should be a healthy interaction between the panelists and audience participation to share ideas and improve understanding.
