Timor-Leste Rising with the Greater Sunrise Fields
Tuesday, 3 May
President and CEO of Timor GAP, E.P., Antonio De Sousa, will discuss his/Timor-GAP’s vision and efforts to develop the Greater Sunrise fields, and its significance in delivering transformational and generational change to Timor-Leste. The Greater Sunrise fields, discovered in 1974 in the Timor Sea, hold an estimated 5.1 trillion cubic feet of natural gas and around 226 million barrels of condensate. Timor GAP’s plans to develop the Greater Sunrise fields, in alignment with the Paris Agreement goals, will strengthen regional and global economic and energy security, and support its democracy - one of Southeast Asia’s youngest and strongest.
