The world is changing in a fast pace and so is the energy industry. A revolution is underway with a changing dynamic from the demand side, as well as new technologies and solutions from the supply side. The objective of this session is to provide an in-depth discussion of the low carbon trend in the offshore industry and how industry is balancing the drives for reduced carbon emissions and acceptable lifting costs. The discussion in this session will cover a market analysis on the energy industry, an overview of the challenges and opportunities in the current oil and gas environment, including offshore operations, technologies for reducing CO2 emissions, repurposing assets as hubs for carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) and the added value for low carbon oil and gas production.
