Technical / Poster Session
So what is the digital transformation? Are you tired of hearing “digitalization” buzz words but not understanding how the application of data analysis and modeling techniques can provide actual, real-life benefits? This session aims to help by spotlighting the commonalities among industries in regard to digital transformation, and how the underlying technical expertise is being shared inside and outside of the oil and gas industry. The selected papers have a particular focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and digital twins. Learn how these techniques can be used to predict pump failures, classify complex downhole and surface physical processes, and improve safety and profitability of operations—and perhaps they may apply to your current role!
