Technical / Poster Session
Transitioning to a sustainable energy future will require improved performance of EOR projects. We have an opportunity to optimize the design and execution of EOR projects by incorporating learnings from current work and field implementation. In this session we will learn about chemical applications for oil recovery from the bench to the field at different conditions, how novel technologies like nanotechnology can help to better understand physical processes, technical work helping to properly quantify aquifer impact on EOR projects, model CO2 for EOR and storage, and improved modeling of foam behavior.
