Technical / Poster Session
We are in an era of transition as we move beyond fossil fuel sources to harness other forms of energy that, not only meets the needs of the present generation, but also allows for the future generations to meet their own needs in a sustainable way. The Energy Transition and Sustainability Solutions session is a must for those who look beyond traditional fossil fuel harvesting solutions and consider other ways to power mankind’s needs, such as wind, hydroelectric power, solar, wave and geothermal energy. We’ve assembled a team of highly respected researchers and pragmatic engineers who are pioneering ways to harness what nature has so willingly provided. Our objectives are really threefold: Inform the participant regarding current research tracks; Engage the participant in terms of what is actually commercially feasible right now; Inspire the participant to think beyond the traditional approach and contribute to this most exciting field of study. Come and join us for interesting and engaging discussions on how humans can truly co-exist with nature while simultaneously providing for the energy needs of a complex and dynamic world.
